My personal reflection on how AI shaped my work, my creativity, and my courage.
2025 was a year that surprised me in the best possible ways. A year that challenged me, strengthened me, and opened doors I didn’t even know existed. And when I look back, one theme runs through almost every part of my professional journey: AI — not as a hype, not as a shortcut, but as a true partner.
This article is my personal recap of what I learned, what changed for me, and why 2025 will forever be the year I became bolder, clearer, and more confident in my work.
AI as a partner, not as a tool
I’ve been working with ChatGPT for three years now. And if someone had told me back then that an AI could learn my language, my tone, my structure — I wouldn’t have believed it.
But that’s exactly what happened.
Over time, ChatGPT stopped feeling like a tool and started becoming a partner. A quiet, tireless collaborator who supports me in the background, helps me think more clearly, and gives me the space to stay focused on what matters:
Clarity. Empathy. Results.
The more consistently I worked with AI, the more I realized something important:
- AI doesn’t replace my voice — it strengthens it.
- AI doesn’t limit my creativity — it expands it.
- AI doesn’t remove my humanity — it helps me communicate it better.
I used to spend hours fine-tuning texts, restructuring ideas, rewriting paragraphs. Now, I can focus on strategy, vision, and the emotional side of transformation — exactly where I bring the most value to my clients.
And that shift felt empowering.
Building my first app as a non-techie — my 2025 milestone
If I had to choose one big personal highlight of the year, it’s this:
I built my first app.
As a non-developer.
As someone from marketing.
As a person who always believed, deep down, that “tech isn’t my thing.”
And yet — I did it.
It started rough. My first attempt with another tool was frustrating. Intransparent costs, unexpected limitations, and a learning curve that made me question myself more than once.
But then came Base44 — and suddenly, everything felt possible. Clear structure, honest pricing, simple logic. Exactly the framework I needed. I rebuilt screens, deleted mistakes, redesigned flows, tested features, and learned so much about myself along the way.
Most importantly, I rediscovered what it feels like to grow beyond your comfort zone.
This app became more than a project. It became a personal milestone — a reminder that curiosity and courage are always stronger than doubt.
A vision born in my kitchen: a personalized dog-nutrition app
One of my favorite things about building digital solutions is that inspiration often comes from everyday life.
My own inspiration came from my dog. Cooking for him started as a necessity. Healthy options were rare, so I read books, watched videos, studied nutrition, and slowly saw the impact a balanced diet can have on a dog’s health, mood, and energy.
What I didn’t expect was meeting so many dog owners who were struggling with the same questions and fears.
From those conversations came my first book.
Then the second.
And eventually — a vision:
A personalized dog-nutrition app. A digital companion filled with recipes, shopping lists, tips, and daily support — all designed to make dog nutrition easy, joyful, and emotionally meaningful.
For me, this project is not just a product. It’s a love story between knowledge, empathy, and the desire to help dogs live healthier, happier lives.
And 2026 will be the year I bring it to life.
What AI changed in my daily work
AI didn’t just help me grow — it changed how I work.
Here are the biggest shifts I felt this year:
1. Automation gave me back time
- Tasks that used to take hours now take minutes.
- Once manual workflows now run automatically.
- Suddenly, I had room to breathe — and to think.
2. Marketing became more focused and strategic
Creating content became faster without losing my authenticity.
I could run variations, test messages, and craft storytelling with more depth and clarity.
3. Analytics became clearer
AI helped me see patterns I wouldn’t have recognized alone — especially valuable in MedTech and tech industries.
4. Processes became smoother and smarter
I simulated workflows, optimized team setups, and prepared transformation processes in ways that would have taken me much longer before.
Overall, AI gave me one thing I value deeply: Self-determination.
I can design projects better, communicate clearly, and move faster with confidence.
My top 3 learnings from 2025
1. Consistency wins — always
Real collaboration with AI grows through patience, structure, and clarity.
2. Empathy remains the center
No technology replaces the human ability to listen, guide, and lead through change.
3. Courage creates possibilities
Building an app, launching projects, writing books — everything started with one simple decision:
Try.
What I will do differently in 2026
1. Be bolder
More innovation, more experimentation, more courage in my app journey.
2. Automate more — without losing quality
Freeing even more cognitive space for strategy, clarity, and leadership.
3. Share what I know
Helping others see AI as an opportunity — not a threat.
A new beginning — and a grateful heart
2025 changed me. It made me clearer, more grounded, and more confident in the work I love.
And 2026 will bring another big shift: I’ll be back in Germany in February — ready for new projects, new collaborations, and a fresh chapter.
AI will continue to be my partner. Not replacing me — but strengthening me.
As you read this, I hope it inspires you to pause for a moment and reflect on your own journey with AI:
- How has your daily work been shaped?
- Which new opportunities has it opened for you?
- And when you look back on 2025, what has changed for you?
Maybe this article gives you the impulse to look at your work through a slightly different lens.
Because sometimes clarity begins with a single thought.
